As the seller, you have a bit more freedom around closing time. Assuming the buyer is financing the purchase, they will need to wait for loan documents to be drawn up and approved by both the lender and escrow before being able to sign for the home. You'll be able to schedule an appointment to sign anytime near the closing date at your convenience. Be aware that the buyer does have a right to perform a walk through of the property after repairs are completed to inspect the repair quality. At this point in the transaction, we will be communicating heavily with the buyer's agent, lender and escrow officer to make sure things are proceeding smoothly and to prevent any last minute snags. Before you know it, the day will arrive, we'll coordinate with you to transfer keys and your home will be S-O-L-D. Commence the celebration and repeat the first portion of Step 6.
